Individual Psychology sessions
Initial Assessment appointment - For parent/carer only

1-hour booking - This parent-only appointment is an essential part of assessing your child's needs and appropriate intervention. If a comprehensive assessment questionnaire is deemed appropriate, this will incur an additional cost of $20.

Initial Assessment appointment - Young adult/teen

1 hour booking - This initial assessment session is for older adolescents who prefer to provide their own background history.

Centrelink recipients

Please talk to me if you are on a Centrelink benefit as I can arrange a reduced cost fee. Please note I have capacity to work with limited clients under a reduced fee and therefore you may wait longer for services to commence.
Brief session
$110 per 1/2hr
Mixed-mode delivery - I can refer you to an online program (e.g. This Way Up) where you complete weekly content online and then we can work on the activities together. This is a more cost-effective option whilst still being supported in person or online by me.

NDIS plan or self managed

You will need to provide background reports and your NDIS plan. We can work with plan managed and self-managed participants only.
Information about fees and rebates
Medicare rebates
To be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $96.65 on a 50 minute session, a referral letter and Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, psychiatrist or paediatrician must be provided. Mental health challenges covered by Medicare are specific. Please check this link for more information about what is covered - Better Access to Mental Health Care initiative under Medicare | APS (psychology.org.au).
Medicare sessions
For eligible clients, the medical practitioner will refer for an initial 6 sessions, and then review the progress report I provide. If further sessions are considered appropriate, they can then refer for a further 4 sessions. Medicare will rebate 10 psychology sessions per calendar year if a client is eligible for that service.
Parent sessions under Medicare
You can claim 2 sessions from Medicare if your child has an eligible referral. These sessions are not in addition to the 10 sessions that your child is eligible for in a calendar year. I.e. 8 child sessions + 2 parents sessions = 10 Medicare funded sessions in 1 calendar year.
Private paid services
You are not required to have a referral to access psychological support. The above-listed fees also apply for private clients. Some clients can access a rebate from their health fund. If you are not sure, call your health fund provider and ask whether your cover provides psychology rebates.
Group bookings
I can come to you if you would like me to facilitate a workshop or presentation.
Cool Kids anxiety management program
Groups are occurring on a regular basis. Get in touch for more information.
Cool Little Kids (Parent-led program) for children 2-6.
$420 per family (includes parent workbook)
Custom presentations to school staff, students, preschools, or parents.
